Philip Woollcott is the founding, managing principal of JPW Development established in 2015, where he is responsible for leading the team in pursuit of new opportunities with a focus on adaptive reuse projects.

Philip previously was the co-founding principal and Broker In Charge of The PrimeSouth Group established in 1996 – an innovative broker, developer and manager of commercial real estate based in Charleston, SC. Philip was responsible for structuring and analyzing real estate investments, management of relationships with investors and lenders, financial analysis of new developments and overseeing the company’s brokerage department. In addition, Phillip coordinated the design and construction teams engaged on the firm’s historic tax credits projects to ensure all guidelines with the National Park Service where met. The firm was a pioneer in the redevelopment of the Upper King Street area specializing in adaptive reuse with a portfolio of over 16 properties.

Prior to forming PirmeSouth Group Philip worked as a commercial real estate broker with several top local Charleston real estate firms. 

Philip graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics.
